Pastor Berry is a bi-vocational pastor
who understands the difficulty of balancing work, family and
finances. As founding pastor of Grace Covenant his desire
was to have a ministry that helps people face the
difficulties of day-to-day living from a biblical
perspective.

they have three boys, the oldest son, Leslie, is 19 and is
now serving in the U. S. Marines. Brad and Michael attend

through his wife to be, Barbara. Five years later Pastor
Berry would feel the call of God on his life to become a
minister, and leaving a successful business career in
financial industry, he attended Erskine Seminary where
received his Master of Divinity in 1995 and was ordained to
ministry at Dutch Fork ARP Church in Irmo.
He served Dutch Fork ARP Church until
2000, when with the help of the church a new church called
Grace Covenant was started, meeting at the YMCA on Kennerly
Road. Grace Covenant was founded with a vision of a church
that really cares about the needs of its members and the
necessity of facing the difficulties of day-to-day living
from a biblical perspective. Grace Covenant would join the
Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) in July 2006; it was the first
church for the ECC in South Carolina. In September
2006, Grace Covenant church would move to a new home at 227 Lincreek Rd, Irmo,
SC

church by showing others the witness of living a life to the
glory of God at work, in the community and at home.
